HOT! is an extract from a video work by Katherine Araniello and Hayley Newman. Video material provided by Newman, is re-composed and edited by Araniello. It is the first collaboration of a series in which video makers have been invited to respond to Newman's performance 'The Volcano Lady' (2005). In this video sexual emotions and feelings are corrupted and perverted; eruptions become orgasms, eyes are the female sex and ketchup becomes lava/blood.
